Recap

We enjoyed this hike, it was challenging enough and was very rewarding the whole way. At one point it seemed like we forgot what we were hiking toward; because, the whole trail was the destination. Every crossing and grove held something new. There were a couple used fire pits along the trail. Campfires of any kind are not allowed on this trail. Around these fire pits we spent a great deal of time collecting crushed cans, broken glass bottles, bottle caps, and other clearly weathered consumables. We were not prepared to collect this much trash; and, were unable to collect it all. If you decide to hike this trail be aware of the possibility of broken glass and sharp metal on the trail.

We very much intend to return to this trail. Not only to finish collecting the hazardous trash we missed; but, simply because we enjoyed the experience. We hope you enjoy it too.
