No Trail Left behind

Hidden Falls

Back to Big Cottonwood Canyon
1-2 minutes from trailhead
Hardly any elevation climb
Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

Hidden Falls is a small waterfall just a few minutes from the Mill B North Fork Trailhead. The trail, starting just to the left of the stairs that start the Mill B North Fork Overlook trail, leads you up a large stream just a few moments before you will see the waterfall. Being such a short trail, some visitors take hammocks to throw across the stream to take a very peaceful rest over the ambiance of the waterfall.

Recap

Hidden Falls was a great place to stop on our way to Willow Heights. The waterfall made the air in the small ravine quite cool compared to the hot air of the valley. We stopped here to look around and cool off; and, it was well worth it. This short walk up the stream is quite a popular destination, even mid-day we encountered several people from different groups relaxing near the falls. On the way up there is a small cave covered with a rusted wire fence that has had a large hole cut in it. Large enough for a small person to fit into, please be aware that inside this cave lies a bunch of trash and unsanitary looking water.
